About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to join our team at Drax Group. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial value and improving overall procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize value and ensure the right level of governance is applied.
  • Provide day-to-day procurement guidance and advice to other team members.
  • Build meaningful and strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive procurement excellence.
  • Support the Procurement Lead in the successful delivery of the overall procurement strategy for Drax Group.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical procurement skills linked with an ability to drive best practice.
  • Experience in creating and executing a successful category strategy for professional services in a complex, global, multisite organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to implement opportunities for innovation and identify key opportunities for Procurement support.
