About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PR and Communications Manager to join our dynamic team at Fieldfisher. As a key member of our PR and Communication team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing communications strategies that align with our business priorities and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PR and communication strategies that drive business growth and enhance our reputation.
  • Collaborate with our sector and practice teams to deliver communications objectives and achieve media coverage.
  • Create and distribute engaging content to maximize PR exposure and build our brand.
  • Draft news releases, case studies, and articles to secure media coverage in national, trade, and regional media.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists to ensure our experts have a voice on key issues.
  • Set up interviews and coach lawyers on media techniques and how to liaise with the media.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to drive strategic media activity and amplify our successes.
  • Work with our Business Development team to generate creative ideas for campaigns that drive strategic media activities.
  • Draft communications for our intranet and other internal channels to publicize our achievements.
  • Provide content for our social media channels to support digital marketing efforts.
  • Manage legal directory submissions and write compelling award submissions.
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing colleagues from across our international network.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in language/literature, journalism, business, marketing, law, or related fields.
  • At least five years of PR experience as an in-house or agency communications professional.
  • Excellent writing skills and strong copy/proofing skills.
  • Experience in developing successful communications and content campaigns.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex issues and execute against strategic priorities.
  • Experience working with different media formats and ability to package dynamic media content.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Good project management skills and familiarity with managing third parties and agencies.
  • Motivated, self-starter able to operate independently.
