Care Companion

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team in the Northern Metro region.

• This role involves working independently to provide in-home support to our clients, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You will have the flexibility to choose your shifts, including shorter days and weekends, and be able to drive between client homes using your own reliable vehicle.

• A competitive hourly rate of $25-$30, depending on experience
• Paid travel time and a mileage allowance of $0.99 per kilometre
• Not-for-profit salary packaging for up to $2650 per year, offering you more take-home pay with less tax

• A Certificate III in Individual Support or higher, or who have completed their first year of nursing
• The annual flu immunisation and a willingness to obtain it annually
• Ability to provide or obtain a suitability police check outcome
• Ability to supply or obtain current CPR (HLTAID 009) and First Aid Training Certificates (HLTAID 011)
• A Qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability Support, or similar
