Job Title: Research Fellow

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to collaborate with the University of St Andrew's to create computational models to aid in the design and development of polymer catheters. The goal of the project is to design Metal Organic Framework (MOF) loaded catheters that can adjust the release rate of Nitric Oxide (NO) for various medical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the University of St Andrew's to create computational models for polymer catheter design and development.
  • Design Metal Organic Framework (MOF) loaded catheters that can adjust the release rate of Nitric Oxide (NO) for various medical applications.
  • Develop optimization algorithms using surrogate modelling to determine the optimal materials and dimensions for specific polymers and applications.
  • Transform complex data, such as micro-CT data, into computational models.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant area, or about to obtain.
  • Recent research experience in Computer Aided Engineering.
  • Proven track record of research excellence.
  • Ability to undertake supplementary administrative duties and engage in continuous professional development.
