Financial Accountant Job Description

Your new company is a highly acquisitive multinational logistics business based in South Manchester. They are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to lead the IFRS/Fixed Assets/CAPEX and other accounting standards for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of the balance sheet for fixed assets
  • Control the inter company reconciliation for the business, ensuring compliance with group procedure and resolving any differences with other entities
  • Business partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Sales
  • Take lead on the PWC audit and other audit bodies
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Professional with experience working within a large complex organisation
  • Familiarity with accounting processes such as IFRS16, Fixed Assets, CAPEX, and other accounting standards
  • Strong monthly accounting and reporting experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to talk to both finance and non-financial leaders within the business
