We are seeking an experienced Art Editor to join our team at Park Village, a multi-faceted Creative Production Studio with a strong presence in the film, stills, and events industries.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with directors, producers, and EPs to deliver high-quality work that exceeds client expectations. Key responsibilities include offline and online editing of commercial projects, documentaries, showreels, and marketing content, as well as rushes footage management, storage, and server management.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Excellent knowledge of Adobe post-production software and linear editing software (Premiere, FCP, AVID)
- Basic knowledge of design packages such as Illustrator and Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of audio, VO recording, and sound design
- Experience of a variety of post software such as DaVinci Resolve, REDcine, frame.io, Quicktime, etc.
- Good understanding of Codecs, compression, export, and delivery processes
- Good understanding of offline/online workflows
- Good understanding of online video platforms, file delivery, and upload/download processes
- Experience with HD camera workflows – including ingest, transcode, and conform
- Understanding of cloud/onsite servers and general media storage
- Some experience delivering projects for online, film, and television
- Good communication skills, to be comfortable liaising with editors, producers, and EPs
- A confident self-starter, a proactive, systematic, and efficient team player
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize a challenging workload effectively and work to tight deadlines
- Willingness to expand knowledge of editing software, hardware, post-production processes, and protocols
- Experience in a similar role in a digital media/post-production environment
The ideal candidate will be based in London and have the right to work in the UK.
