Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Engineer of Traffic Systems to join our team at Telent Technology Services Limited. As an Engineer of Traffic Systems, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of traffic signal systems across the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out regular maintenance of traffic signal equipment to prevent failures and minimize downtime
  2. Respond to reactive faults and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes
  3. Implement corrective actions and preventative measures to ensure optimal system performance
  4. Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes
  5. Conduct site visits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role within the traffic industry is essential, along with basic electrical knowledge and a fully accredited sector 8 certification.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a traffic installation or maintenance position
  • Basic electrical knowledge or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
  • Fully accredited sector 8 certification
  • Full driving license for safe transportation to job sites
