Job Title: Design and Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Systems Engineer to join our team at RHL. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and testing the design, functionality, and maintenance of products, equipment, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve sampling procedures and designs to ensure quality and reliability standards are met.
  • Supervise programs to evaluate the precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality control activities to ensure employees are equipped to meet quality standards.
  • Specialize in areas of quality control engineering, including design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application.
  • Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
  • Plan and direct activities concerned with the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
  • Manage quality control programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Matlab/Simulink, and Office 365.
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Team player and detail-oriented.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

Duration:

12 months +

Rate:

£27.22 per hour + holiday and pension

Hours:

8:30am to 4:45pm Mon - Thur & 8:30am to 4:15pm Fri. Minimum 3 days on-site.
