Teacher of Literature Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Teacher of Literature to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English literature and a passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons.
About the Role:
- Teach English literature lessons to students aged 7-19 with Autism and associated needs, using a range of techniques and strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that promote academic growth and social development.
Requirements:
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and pupils.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in English literature education.
