Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef Manager to join our team at our restaurant/deli bar, events, and hospitality spaces within a manufacturing and corporate office site in Barrow. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all catering and hospitality services provision, including food preparation, restaurant services, functions, hospitality, and vending services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a team of catering and hospitality staff to ensure they are responsive, well-motivated, and customer-focused.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and HACCP legislation and regulations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to achieve business objectives and goals.

Requirements

  • Experience at a management level within a catering and events environment.
  • Experience within a catering and events environment catering for small and large functions.
  • Knowledge of function catering, health and safety, food safety, and HACCP legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
