We are seeking a talented SEND Teaching Assistant to join our client's Special Needs School in Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their career in education and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic potential. You will also work closely with teachers to ensure that students receive the necessary support to excel academically.

This is a full-time, long-term role with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidate. The salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Responsibilities:
  • Offering individualized support to students, including one-to-one sessions.
  • Supporting pupils with complex needs and ensuring their welfare is protected.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in care/support roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A caring and nurturing personality.
  • A valid child-only DBS check.
