Job Summary:
Norse Group is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team in Essex. As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting asbestos management, demolition, refurbishment, and re-inspection surveys across various building sectors, including domestic, commercial, and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct asbestos surveys and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and contribute to meeting operational demands.
- Provide expert advice on asbestos management and risk assessment to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in asbestos management and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in asbestos surveying and risk assessment within the building industry.
- BOHS P Building surveys & Bulk sampling for Asbestos or equivalent RSPH qualification.
- Full driving license and ability to travel frequently to sites and offices.
- P-Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with TEAMS software.
