About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our team at Woodside Park School, located in Penge, South East London. As a Special Education Expert for Young Adults, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality teaching and support to students with complex needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • To secure high-quality teaching and effective use of resources to improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Head of Education/Headteacher.
  • To teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
  • In consultation with the Head of Education/Headteacher, undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who possesses:

  • Use of a variety of teaching styles and approaches.
  • Attainment of GCSE (or equivalent), grade C in English and Maths.
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all pupils.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work jointly with colleagues.
About the School

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be £35,000.00 - £43,000.00 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also receive a range of benefits, including life assurance, pension scheme, and access to mental health support services.
