We are seeking a skilled Senior Product Compliance Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design of safe products through analysis and identification of risks
- Apply systems engineering principles to safety products, including working within a centralized modelling tool
- Collaborate with a small safety team environment to achieve desirable safety outcomes
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of safe and reliable products. You will work closely with the Principal Engineers to provide analysis and outputs to support design development.
Your Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with UK Defence Standard and publications such as Defence Standard 00-56, Defence Standard 00-55, DSA-01, DSA-02
- Familiarity with safety analysis techniques such as Fault Hazard Analysis (FHA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Systematic Human Action Reliability Procedure for Assessing Technological Accident Sequences (STPA)
- STEM degree ideally with Product Safety experience within a regulated industry
