Finance Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team at Reed Accountancy and Finance Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing client and contribute to their financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable, maintaining a high level of financial control.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate financial records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required, providing exceptional support to the finance team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work both in the office and remotely, with a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
