Location: Lydney

Remuneration: £23,000 neg (DOE) + Profit share bonus scheme

The role of Sales Negotiator Civils & Drainage involves:

  • Sales negotiation for a range of civils, drainage & construction products such as ducting, access products, geomembranes, insulation, protective sheeting, paving, reinforcements, tools, aircrete blocks, through wall ventilation, etc.
  • Sales into housebuilders, civil contractors & groundwork companies
  • Handling inbound enquiries via email, telephone and on the trade counter
  • Maintaining and building relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Preparing quotations and following up with customers
  • Liaising with suppliers to arrange direct to site orders
  • Inputting orders into Sage order processing software

The ideal candidate will be a Sales Negotiator Civils & Drainage with:

  • Experience within the construction industry, ideally drainage & civils
  • Office experience preferred but consideration will be given to candidates from a trade counter background
  • Background in internal sales, sales support, customer service, admin, trade counter, or yard/ground work
  • Any experience with Sage order processing is highly beneficial but not essential
  • Highly organised, motivated and driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team
  • IT literate
