Community Support Worker Role

We are seeking a Community Support Worker to join our team at one of our Community Flats in Wellington Road - Brighton. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to our adult residents, following individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. Your focus will be on maintaining independent living skills, which may include personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising, and other daily routines.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing support to residents with daily living tasks
  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene
  • Encouraging residents to participate in leisure activities and social events
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with residents, their families, and other professionals

About You

We are looking for someone with genuine empathy for our tenants, who can provide positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through difficult times. You should enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues. Excellent face-to-face communication skills, a good standard of literacy, and good ICT skills are essential. Flexibility and good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload, are also required.
