Clinical Skills Lead

Job Summary:
The Clinical Skills Lead will be responsible for providing education, training, support, and development to staff in line with the agreed training and education priorities set at Care Group and ward/dept. level. This will include the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning resources and training programmes/events for the back of house areas within the care group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide education and training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to deliver outstanding care to patients and maintain safe working practices.
- Design and develop programmes to support newly qualified/new into post professionals transition from student to qualified practitioner.
- Establish support for those completing Care Certificate, staff who are advancing into Band 4 roles and subsequently then into RN posts.
- Work closely with similar roles within EAU and ED teams to ensure consistency and best practice.
- Lead the development of a sustainable workforce and promote clinical skills training, preceptorship, and apprenticeships.
