About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Fraud Detection Analyst to join our international Fraud & Investigations team at Trustpilot. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing online trust and protecting consumers and businesses worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze fraud trends on our platform using advanced data analysis techniques and tools such as SQL, Google BigQuery, and Google Looker.
  • Develop and implement rules to prevent and detect fraudulent behavior, ensuring the integrity of our platform.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations of escalated cases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Partner with data science experts to drive innovation and improve our fraud detection capabilities.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to enhance internal tools and databases, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Provide expert analysis and insights to various stakeholders, including media, legal, and customer teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and developing data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization tools, with a strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
