Job Description

This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. As a Senior Treasury Manager, you will refine and update cash flow forecasts, oversee the setup and monitoring of cash flow hedges, and collaborate with technical accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts that account for approximately 30-40% of this role, ensuring timely communication of changes to senior treasury leadership.
  • Cash Flow Hedges: Set up, document, and monitor cash flow hedges, working closely with technical accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Act as a deputy for the Head of Treasury, supporting compliance with financial market regulations and sanctions related to treasury activities, including OFAC, Dodd-Frank, and EMIR requirements.
  • Treasury Policy and Procedures: Assist in drafting and consulting on new or revised global treasury policies and procedures, particularly those involving financial instruments and treasury services.
  • Counterparty Investment Risks: Manage counterparty investment risks across a defined number of institutions to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with board policies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial activity, including cash flow, assets, liabilities, and transactions; prepare reports and forecasts to support strategic treasury management.
  • Operational Sustainability: Ensure financial efficiency and operational sustainability across treasury activities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Professional Qualifications: ACT, AAT, or ACCA, CIMA qualification.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including expertise in complex data analysis. Hands-on experience as an active SAP user (or other large ERP), with a strong understanding of its applications in finance and treasury.
  • Data Visualization: Proven knowledge and practical experience with Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
