Job Description:


Edwards & Pearce is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for solar PV and EV installations, as well as commercial and industrial infrastructure applications.

The Role
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in electrical engineering and design. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of solar PV and EV systems, as well as commercial and industrial infrastructure applications. You will create technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports for each project. Additionally, you will collaborate with other engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the electrical design and installation.

Responsibilities
This role demands a highly skilled and experienced individual who can work independently and under pressure. Some of the key responsibilities include:

* Designing and developing electrical systems for solar PV and EV installations, as well as commercial and industrial infrastructure applications
* Creating technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports for each project
* Conducting site visits and inspections as required
* Collaborating with other engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of the electrical design and installation

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design and engineering
* Experience in solar PV and EV systems, as well as commercial and industrial infrastructure applications
* Experience in using various software tools and applications for electrical design and engineering, such as AutoCAD, Trimble
* Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
* Experience in HV design
* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Full UK Driving license
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
* Health & Safety qualification
* Project Management Qualification

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
