About the Role

This Taxation Professional position at TQR offers a unique opportunity to work with one of our clients based in Honiton. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Main Duties:
  • Preparation of financial statements for diverse business structures
  • Calculation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns
  • Delivery of bookkeeping and management accounting services
  • Submission of essential documents to relevant authorities
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Compliance with internal policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support for Partners, Managers, and the office with general administrative tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience in an accountancy practice as an Accounts Technician or Semi-Senior
  • AAT qualified (desired) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in preparing accounts for limited companies
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and able to work independently
Benefits:
  • Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
