About the Role

As Volunteering Lead - Communities, you will be responsible for developing and delivering volunteering initiatives that have a lasting impact on improving volunteering in line with Shelter's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement volunteering strategies to engage volunteers and achieve Shelter's goals
  • Lead on the development of volunteering opportunities and programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including leadership teams and volunteers
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of volunteering initiatives
  • Identify and develop new ways for people to give their time and contribute to Shelter's mission

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of developing and delivering volunteering initiatives
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of volunteering best practices and principles
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work with diverse teams
