Job Title: Freight HandlerbeBee Professionals is seeking a skilled Freight Handler to join our logistics team in Reigate, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods from vehicles, handling items carefully to prevent damage, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of packages to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, handling items carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, utilizing your knowledge of the area to optimize delivery times.
• Maintain the company vehicle in good working condition, performing routine checks and addressing any issues promptly.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, providing detailed information on each delivery.
• Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the safety of yourself and others on the road.
Requirements:
• Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
• Good communication and customer service abilities, providing excellent service to our customers and responding to their queries in a professional manner.
• Ability to handle and lift heavy items, demonstrating your physical fitness and stamina.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of our delivery schedule.
