Metalworker Specialist

Role Overview

As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be part of the Sheet Metal Workers team at BAE Systems, responsible for manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture. The team works a variety of shifts, including day, back, night and weekend shifts.

Your Responsibilities

• Manufacture and install ventilation and furniture
• Work to engineering standards, striving for quality first time
• Use a range of hand tools
• Hand skills required for manufacturing and installation purposes
• Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawing

What You'll Need

• Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers) - you will be required to provide papers
• Clear understanding of SHE, COSHH risks awareness and manufacturing processes
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
• Safety certification (SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc)
• Background in a major construction/manufacturing environment
