Product Development Specialist

Cirrus Logic is a leading expert in low power, mixed-signal processing, and a leading supplier of innovative solutions in audio, voice, and haptics. We are seeking a Product Engineer who will be responsible for qualifying exciting new products and driving quality improvements.

This is an opportunity to work with internal engineering teams and external product test suppliers to resolve sophisticated problems and identify and implement efficient process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Quality team on product reliability qualifications
  • Own statistical data analysis and reporting to external customers
  • Develop hardware for reliability stressing
  • Bring up of burn-in capability for qualifications
  • Work with multi-functional teams to implement solutions to complex problems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis
  • Familiarity with datasheets
  • Knowledge of hardware design basics
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VBT), or JSL
  • Experience with oscilloscope and logic analyzers for burn-in debug
  • Attention to detail and ability to make good decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position is based in Edinburgh, UK and is a hybrid remote position following a 2+ day in-office work schedule. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
