Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join their team in London. The successful candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Azure and play a key role in managing, optimising, and scaling the company's cloud infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer looking to specialise in cloud infrastructure and take their skills to the next level.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and other automation tools to streamline deployment processes and improve application quality.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, applications, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices for cloud-native application deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Continuously improve and optimise processes for build, deployment, and monitoring of applications in the cloud.
  • Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments by implementing best practices for identity management, access control, and monitoring.
  • Provide on-call support for critical production issues and work on root-cause analysis and resolution.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in Azure cloud services.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, artifacts) and tools like Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD platforms.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging in Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor).
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including identity management (Azure Active Directory), network security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with scripting and automation in languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
