Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturer in French

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Associate Lecturer to join our team in the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication at Birkbeck University of London.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French 4 and French 5 modules, which include language tuition and cultural studies. The ideal candidate will have native knowledge of the French language and experience in teaching advanced language at university level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French 4 and French 5 modules, including language tuition and cultural studies
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the French language and culture program
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Native knowledge of the French language
  • Experience in teaching advanced language at university level
  • Qualifications to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
