Job Summary:

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Sector Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies across our sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Manage and coordinate the development of Joint Action Plans (JAPs) with suppliers to address material supply issues and ensure compliance with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) requirements.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on material supply metrics, including revenue forecasting and material reporting into local Customer Service Representatives (CSRs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate material supply risks and ensure alignment with Internal Material Planning Systems (IMPS) plans.
  • Manage and mentor a team of material leads to ensure effective communication and execution of functional and legislative governance and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in material planning, supply, and control, with a strong understanding of MRP, push-pull scheduling, and BOBJ reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Leadership and performance management skills, including coaching and mentoring of team members.
  • Relevant process knowledge, including SAP, Material, MRP, PDM, NPI, Inventory control, and LCM.
