Enterprise Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our technology leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the bank's digital landscape and driving innovation.

• Develop and evolve the bank's technology architecture through relevant solutions, strategies, and execution plans aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture teams and other developers, to provide subject matter expertise and share knowledge to foster continuous improvement.
• Motivate and lead a diverse collection of technologists, business, and operations teams, and enterprise leaders, to align business & technology strategy & standards.
• Assess new technologies to address current and future business needs, through a combination of curiosity and problem-solving skills.
• Determine the optimal solutions while balancing continuous requirements imposed by compliance, governance, security, and funding.

• Proven expertise in providing solid guidance and roadmaps for transitionary architectures to achieve modernisation of legacy applications and data landscape.
• Previous exposure to software engineering, delivering reusable components in distributed architecture, as well as job-specific technical skills.
• Ability to manage definition of complex solutions across multiple functional areas.
• Knowledge of products and services across the financial services industry (including trends, future development).
