About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Dorset. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support, promoting independence and enabling the individuals you support to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and events
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the individuals you support and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a cohesive and effective support network
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans

Requirements:
  • Experience working in a support worker or care assistant role (desirable)
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliability and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
