Job Title: Procurement Manager, Global Enterprise Technology
Job Summary:
Dentsu is a global network of agencies that helps clients navigate the complexities of the modern business landscape. As a Procurement Manager, Global Enterprise Technology, you will play a critical role in driving the company's strategic procurement initiatives, ensuring the effective management of Enterprise Technology spend on a global basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize Enterprise Technology spend, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global, Regional, and Local C-Level Executives, to deliver value-add procurement solutions that drive business growth and efficiency.
- Negotiate commercial agreements with global technology vendors, balancing global, regional, and cross-brand challenges and needs.
- Manage and deliver global contract renewals, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support the business in contract and performance management, implementing supplier relationship management (SRM) techniques to drive business benefits.
- Work with the Sustainable Procurement manager to develop initiatives, engage with suppliers on sustainability issues, and drive Dentsu's award-winning sustainability agenda.
- Lead and deliver business-as-usual activity, including supplier selection, supplier set-up, implementation of contract terms, negotiation strategies, and business improvement plans.
- Proactively identify risks, budgetary implications, and mitigating measures for the project, presenting to board/executive level.
- Line management responsibility.
Requirements:
- End-to-end knowledge of 3rd party vendor engagement, with demonstrated delivery against the strategic sourcing process.
- Strong understanding of and experience with technology/SaaS procurement, including commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Sound understanding of complex license models and cloud architecture and cost models.
- Proven experience of working with global, market-leading technology vendors.
- Global and/or multi-country procurement experience.
- Sound knowledge of contractual law, financial reporting, and modelling principles.
- People management experience.
- Preferable to be working towards or be CIPS/MCIPS qualified.
