About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This long-term opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a dedicated school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Work one-to-one with students who require additional support
- Assist with planning and preparing educational resources
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £83.33 - £90 per day, which reflects the importance of this role in supporting students' educational development. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including the opportunity to work with a experienced and supportive team.
Requirements:
- Enhanced child DBS check (mandatory)
- Experience working with KS1/children aged 5-11 years old or young people with additional care needs (SEN)
- Experience with challenging behaviours
- A calm and caring personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
