Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Aquatic Educator to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a Swim Instructor Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist our experienced swim instructors in teaching swimming skills to children and adults. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users.

To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for swimming and be able to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. You will also need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities
  • Work closely with experienced swim instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool users
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
Requirements
  • Level 1 Swim Teaching qualification
  • DBS check
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to deal with children and their parents
