ACCA Senior Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ACCA Audit Manager to join our growing audit team in Newport. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit assignments, developing and maintaining technical expertise, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in audit and assurance, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
- Collaborate with partners and senior managers to plan and execute audit assignments, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage client relationships, building trust and confidence with clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of audit results.
- Develop and implement effective audit methodologies, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Contribute to the development of the audit team, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
- ACCA qualification and relevant experience in audit and assurance.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of audit and assurance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage teams, with a focus on developing and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
The successful candidate will be based in our Newport office, with regular travel to client premises. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 30 days' holiday, life assurance, and pension scheme arrangements.
