About the Role:

Ornua Co-operative Limited is seeking an experienced Trainer and Development Specialist to join our Operational teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and development programs to ensure our operators are competent and skilled in standardised working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess training needs and design and deliver training programs to meet operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to identify skills and competence training needs.
  • Maintain and update staff skills and competence records.
  • Source external training to support competence and skills objectives.
  • Act as site contact for Operational Apprenticeship providers.

Requirements:

  • Train the Trainer qualification or experience training a team.
  • Good working knowledge of food production associated processes and capabilities.
