Job Summary
The Shetland Islands Council is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, designing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in various settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, design, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Work closely with the Senior Supervisor to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in electrical systems and maintenance
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and respond to emergency situations
