**Job Summary**

Forged Solutions Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for machining forgings and tooling to specified drawings across both manual and CNC machining centres.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Machine parts to drawing specifications
  • Use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier, Wall Thickness Meter, Surface Roughness gauge)
  • Conduct pre-shift safety checks
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace housekeeping
  • Ensure quality procedures and processes are followed

**Requirements**

  • Machining experience under +/- .025
  • Manual turning experience
  • CNC milling/turning experience
  • Understanding of Fanuc CNC controls
  • Good communication skills
  • Part programming an advantage
  • Flexibility
  • Windows based computer skills - an advantage
  • Experience with machining forgings - an advantage
  • Attention to detail

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Apprentice trained in Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent
  • Forklift license to RTITB/ITSSAR or any other national accredited qualification - an advantage
  • Overhead Crane/Lifting Certification - an advantage
