Retail Shift Leader Job Description

As a Retail Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering the end-to-end stock taking service on client sites. You will need to be flexible with your availability, as shifts lengths vary, and you may be required to travel to different client sites each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teams of stock counters to ensure accurate and timely stock counts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service standards on all sites
  • Monitor and improve team productivity
  • Ensure correct procedures and processes are followed

Requirements:

  • A full driving license
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Manage time effectively and work without immediate supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel

Please note that this role requires prolonged periods of standing and some use of step stools and ladders. Some sites are in warehouses or large retail premises where you may be required to access and work with ground and high level stock.

This role involves working unsociable hours, including early mornings and night shifts. Therefore, we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 18 years.

Full training in our systems and client procedures will be provided.
