SEN Primary Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate graduate to join our team as a SEN Primary Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with children with SEND/SEN needs in a supportive and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEN needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
Job Specifications:
  • Based in Lewisham
  • Working in an Outstanding Primary school
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (term time only)
  • £105 - £110 daily rate
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a hardworking graduate with strong academics and a passion for learning. Previous experience with children and SEN/SEN needs is essential, as is excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working with Non-Verbal children and previous experience working 1:1 are also highly desirable.
