Tax Semi Senior Job in Yeovil

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Semi Senior to join our dynamic team in Yeovil. As a Tax Semi Senior, you will play a key role in assisting in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies, as well as supporting the tax team with tax planning and advisory projects for a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
  • Support the tax team with tax planning and advisory projects for a range of clients
  • Manage client communications, ensuring compliance deadlines are met
  • Provide guidance on personal and corporate tax issues, offering practical solutions
  • Analyse financial data to ensure accurate tax calculations and compliance
  • Liaise with HMRC and handle tax-related queries from clients
  • Support the development of junior team members with mentoring and assistance

Candidate Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA part-qualified, with experience in tax compliance and preparation of tax returns
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and maintain client relationships
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude, looking to grow within a dynamic tax team
