- Technical Leadership: Act as the technical lead within a small, mixed-discipline project design team, delivering quality design solutions within cost, time, and quality constraints.
- Lab Testing and Validation: Conduct lab testing to verify and ensure design outputs meet the required design inputs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Lead and develop engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigations, and other formal documentation to fulfill customer requirements.
- Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with wider engineering teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into equipment designs.
- Support and Guidance: Provide support for production, testing, and field engineering teams, as well as assist sales teams with bids and quotations.
- Project Management: Work alongside project managers and sales teams to provide time estimates for design activities and track progress.
Requirements:
- Essential: Experience in designing complex mechanisms and structures, proven ability to design systems from original concept to production.
