Key Responsibilities:
  1. Training Program Development: Design, develop, and deliver high-quality short technical training courses in the low carbon (renewable) and/or construction sector.
  2. Training Delivery: Deliver training programs that meet customer needs and expectations.
  3. Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that training programs meet their needs.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports of training activities.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve training programs to meet evolving customer needs.

This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in a clear and understandable manner. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Education: Time served trade (mechanical, electrical or construction related) ideally with a background in low carbon technologies.
  2. Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in training or assessing are ideal but not essential.
  3. Experience: Proven experience as a technical trainer in Building services or in a similar role.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of training tools and technologies.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  7. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple training projects and priorities efficiently.
  8. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and make decisions to improve training outcomes.
