We are seeking a Quality Management Lead to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England. This role will be part of the mega-infrastructure Nuclear New Build project at Hinkley Point C (HPC).

Job Summary:

The Quality Management Lead will ensure HPC Project quality requirements are complied with across the full project life-cycle. This includes contract award, design, procurement, manufacture, test, shipping, construction/installation, test/commission, and contract close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality arrangements for deployment across the HPC organisation.
  • Manage quality execution, including technical assessment of suppliers and conducting manufacturing surveillance.
  • Manage non-conformance and quality release certificate processes.
  • Undertake actions to resolve issues relating to quality implementation and bring about improvements.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in project delivery, preferably in the nuclear power sector, with a focus on project quality and a solid understanding of quality assurance and control in major projects.
  • Clear understanding of quality management best practice for deployment by large, complex, and contract-led organisations.
  • Able to support and implement practical solutions while remaining open to ideas from others.
  • Experience interfacing with project teams and supply chain organisations.
  • Analysis of data, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
  • Ability to influence and provide constructive challenge accepted by others.
