Job Title: Mobile Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Cook to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. As a Mobile Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for children in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for children in a school setting
- Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained
- Comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Develop and implement new recipes and menus to meet the needs of the school
Requirements:
- City and Guilds 706/1 and 2 or equivalent NVQ Level 2 or 3 Award in professional Catering
- Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering or equivalent
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work varied hours and cover shifts as needed
