About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our Care Pathway for Community Foot Protection and Nail Surgery, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services.">
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective care pathways, managing day-to-day operations, and supervising designated clinicians.">
  • This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a team environment.">

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Taking clinical responsibility for care pathways, ensuring timely and effective treatment delivery.">
  • Providing operational and clinical leadership, educating colleagues, and supporting junior staff.">
  • Establishing systems for monitoring quality and service audit, promoting clinical governance and research.">
  • Acting as a lead clinical specialist for nail surgery and/or podiatric diabetes and wound care in community settings.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • BSc Diploma/Degree in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent experience.">
  • Certificate in the administration of Local Anaesthesia and Prescription only medicines certificate.">
  • Registration with HCPC and evidence of Continual Professional Development.">
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in area of specialism and experience of communicating across internal and external boundaries.">
  • Experience of governance, quality, and audit, as well as multi-agency working.">
  • Knowledge of current NHS strategy and clinical governance priorities, local Health Priorities, and Guidelines relating to diabetes.">
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.">

Please note that this role attracts a salary in the range of £58,250 - £83,382 per annum, depending on experience, plus a High Cost Area Supplement.
