Job Title: Principal Cyber Security Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Jagex Limited. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security controls to safeguard our infrastructure, applications, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security architecture and design principles to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain security processes, incident response plans, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) from inception to deployment.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience within the cyber security domain, particularly with cloud security operations in federated enterprises.
  • Strong collaboration and conflict-resolution skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and perform infrastructure threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and provide security recommendations that balance functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience with AWS services, containers, orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub and Azure Security Center.
  • Familiarity with automated security processes such as CI/CD pipeline security, infrastructure-as-code security, and automated patch management.
  • Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CISSP or equivalent.
