About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our Innovation and Partnership Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of our 8 Hills project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project team to develop and deliver plans, ensuring the project delivers proposed benefits within scope, time, and budget.
- Identify and realise community involvement and partnership opportunities, and manage key stakeholder relationships.
- Work with the Project Managers to deliver key elements of 8 Hills and associated projects, including managing digital/print resources, monitoring software, and targeted on-the-ground support package.
- Act as day-to-day contact with consultants, operational colleagues, partners, and suppliers as required.
- Highlight risks and issues to the Project Manager as required and support the Project Team to mitigate them.
- Support project evaluation and ensure that lessons learned are captured and implemented.
Requirements
- Experience with stakeholder management and working with community groups.
- Proven experience of working on projects and a high volume of requests.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritisation.
- Ability to navigate novel challenges using initiative.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships.
- Good listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to give a high-quality service to colleagues.
- Attention to detail, good organisational skills, and ability to work at pace and keep to time.
- Champion of inclusion, who helps support everyone to feel welcome.
