Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of Fire alarm systems, as well as completing paperwork and being customer-facing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance of Fire alarm systems
  • Service and maintenance of Gas Suppression systems (bonus)
  • Completing paperwork
  • Being customer-facing, dealing with customer requests
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Completing works in line with current legislation and British Standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience with Fire alarms
  • Manufacturer experience desired: Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, and Morely
  • ECS/CSCS Card would be ideal but not necessary
  • Full UK Driving License (no points preferred)
  • Be able to pass security screening

What We Offer:

  • Up to £40,000 basic (achievable OTE of £50,000+)
  • Door to Door travel paid at single rate
  • 6% commission for any quoted works invoiced
  • Call out (£210 per week standby) double time door to door if OOH Called out
  • Overtime available
  • Choice of Car or Van (includes personal use), tools, uniform, pension etc.
  • 25 days' holiday + bank holidays
