Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Omega Leeds is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the Deeside area. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and develop plans for maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, and to develop and implement improvements to plant performance.
  • Develop and implement mini-projects to improve plant performance, including machinery modifications and upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance, or equivalent qualification.
  • HND or HNC diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Manufacturing industry experience, preferably with a focus on electrical or mechanical maintenance.
